Mint.com is one financing website out of many! It is put online for the purpose of helping people manage their finances correctly. It informs you if you exceed your monthly budget, and helps you keep track of where your money goes. No secrets!! There are categories in which you organize your budget, such as a fast food budget, groceries budget, or even a shopping budget. Spending more than you are making is dangerous ground to walk on, and can get you into huge trouble. Especially if you are just starting out!! I think it is very important to keep track of your finances, and this website makes it all ten times easier! A bonus with this site and most of the others is the fact that you and you alone can look at the information you have inserted. Password and usernames are vital and if you don't share it, nobody else sees it!! Privacy is usually necessary when it comes to financing. Now concerning the issue if this website is or is not a web 2.0 tool. I would consider it as a web 2.0 tool, but it is a matter of opinion. Because you setup your own account and afterwards you get emails and such concerning your budgets. I don't know, I think it is!! This website is very good if you are a shopaholic! Keeps track of every piece of gum you buy!! One thing that most people wouldn't like about this website is the fact that you have to give your credit card info. Some people don't like that, though I really think this website is very confidential, keeping your information private. I think I would trust the website personally, I think Mint.com is a very useful web 2.0!!
